Lone Beauty

Plein-air painting of one huge, graceful and powerful red blossom demanded attention. Flanked by tiny creamy-yellow flowers made both a stand-out. I don't usually paint flowers by themselves, so this one was special to capture. Beauty fades, so I commited this subject in paint to enjoy for a long time to come.
